Stemming from a deep passion for automobiles born at an early age, I’ve spent my adult life rooted in the California car culture and am proud to say the vast majority of our best friends were met through building, racing, and restoring sports cars. Mary and I genuinely love cars, especially the Porsche marque!

I founded Borden Automotive Group in 2016 as a sunset career after exiting the high-tech corporate world. It was time to dedicate my energy to my true passion. Starting in 2019, we started to pivot our business to focus mainly on serving the local community by providing consignment services leveraging online auctions such as Bring a Trailer. Mary joined me full time in 2021 and we have grown our business model to what we feel is a winning recipe. 

Our passion for everything automotive is strong and we have been avid autocrossers with the local SCCA and Porsche Club of America for over 25 years. We both hold multiple championships. Not only have we raced cars but have restored and built concours level vehicles. We have our own eclectic blend of specialty cars in our personal collection. Both Mary and I enjoy being active in our local car clubs and hosting meet and greet events at our facility. We hope to see you at one of our events or out for a cruise on the beautiful country roads around the Sierra foothills.
